Springfield, Mo. — The Evangel University Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dr. Michael Kolstad, will perform in concert Tuesday, March 11, at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel auditorium.
There is no charge for admission and the public is invited to attend.
The program includes “Snowcaps” by Richard Saucedo, “Four Scottish Dances” by Malcolm Arnold, “Rolling Thunder” by Henry Fillmore, “American Fanfare” by John Wasson, and “Rejoice in Glorious Hope” by Thomas Smith.
The concert will also feature performances by Evangel seniors Deryk Schudy, tuba, and Matthew Yeazel, bass trombone.
Schudy, son of Tina Sweet of Norwood, Mo., and Bart Schudy of Springfield, Mo., will perform “Tuba Rhapsody” by Clare Grundman.
Yeazel, son of Danny and Tina Yeazel of Monument, Colo., will perform “Skylines” by David Uber.
