SIFE team to participate in regional competition

Springfield, Mo. — Evangel’s Students in Free Enterprise presentation team will travel to Rogers, Ark, March 27 for the Regional SIFE Competition.

The team will compete against SIFE students from five universities in the Kimberly-Clark league. Winners will compete in the national conference in Chicago, May 13-15.

The SIFE students will present their economic education projects for the 2007-2008 school year. The students will present on topics such as Ethics Unjeopardized, BizKids, South Africa Water Purification and others. The Evangel SIFE presenters are:

• Bryan Dockery, senior accounting major from Shepherdsville, Ky.
• Leah Hindy, senior management major from Battlefield, Mo.
• Victoria Martinez, junior management major from Rolla, Kan.
• Gabriel VanHuss, sophomore accounting and English double major from Springfield, Mo.
• Nicholas Reasor, freshman management major from Nixa, Mo.
• Ricardo Morales, freshman music industry major from Watertown, N.Y.

SIFE is an international organization that mobilizes university students from around the world to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders.
