EU to honor student teachers

Springfield, Mo. — Evangel University will honor 43 seniors for completing their student teaching requirements at 4 p.m. on Monday, April 21, in the Joust West Conference Room.
Professors from the education department will host the celebration. Student teaching supervisors from other departments are invited to attend.
"Our faculty look forward to welcoming these students into the teaching profession," said Dr. Becky Huechteman, education department chair.

Each of the student teachers will be presented with a small gift, and door prizes will be awarded.
Education majors must complete a semester of full-time student teaching in order to receive their degrees.
