Evangel professor re-elected to board of Missouri Association of Colleges for Teacher Education

Springfield, Mo. — Dr. Becky Huechteman, chair of the education department at Evangel University, was re-elected to the executive board of the Missouri Association of Colleges for Teacher Education.

Huechteman will serve a three-year term as the private colleges representative on this 12-member board. She has completed a three-year term as the at-large representative.

The Missouri Association of Colleges for Teacher Education is an affiliate of the national organization whose mission is to promote quality preparation and continuing professional development for PK-12 educators.

Huechteman earned her Ph.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She has been teaching at Evangel since 1981.
