Evangel leads the series 13-10 versus William Jewell. The WJ Cardinals defeated Evangel last season, 21-10, in Liberty, Mo. EU scored all 10 points in the first half.
In Springfield, William Jewell holds a slim 6-5 advantage. The Cardinals are 5-1 in JFK vs. Evangel and 1-4 in MSU’s Plaster Sports Complex. EU’s last home win against William Jewell was in 2001. The Crusaders prevailed 20-13 in a two-overtime game at JFK that saw an early-morning end due to lightning delays.
