Springfield, Mo — Dr. Mike Tenneson, professor of biology at Evangel, recently presented a paper and published a book review.
He presented his paper, “Measuring Pentecostal Attitudes and Beliefs about Origins,” at the American Scientific Affiliation Annual Meeting held August 1, 2009, at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
Tenneson also had a book review, “Storms Over Genesis: Biblical Battleground in America’s Wars of Religion by William H. Jennings,” published in Religious Studies Review Vol. 35, Issue 2, June 2009 edition. The review is available online at http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/journal/122420926/abstract.

Tenneson has been a member of Evangel’s faculty since 1987. He holds a Ph.D. in science education from the University of Missouri-Columbia; an M.A. in missiology/biblical literature from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Springfield, Mo.; an M.S. in biology/statistics from University of North Dakota; and a B.A. in biology from the University of California-Los Angeles.
