Graduate Kathryn Ward publishes book review in Journal

Springfield, Mo — Evangel graduate Kathryn Ward had a book review of Aging Well by Dr. George Vaillant published in the summer edition of the Journal of Psychology and Christianity.

The review was coauthored with her faculty adviser, Dr. Geoffrey W. Sutton.

Aging Well provides a highly readable look at the aging process. The basis of the study was not only to observe the process of development, but also to understand the factors that influence the process.

Ward, daughter of Alan and Teresa Ward of Nixa, Mo., graduated from Nixa R-11 High School in 2004. She earned a degree in psychology from Evangel University in 2008, where she is currently pursuing her master’s degree in clinical psychology.

Dr. Sutton, 1972 graduate of Evangel, taught psychology classes at Evangel from 2002 to 2009. His Ph.D. was earned from the University of Missouri in 1981.
