Anthony Dissmore to perform senior violin recital

Springfield, Mo — Anthony Dissmore, son of Larry and Gayle Dissmore, Springfield, Mo., will perform his senior violin recital at Evangel University on Friday, Feb. 19, at 7:30 p.m., in the Barnett Fine Arts Recital Hall.
There is no charge for admission, and the public is invited to attend.
The program consists of a wide range of music from different time periods and genres, and will include the following:
- Allegro energico from Suite No. 1 in G Minor by Moritz Moszkowski
- Preludes for Piano by George Gershwin, transcribed by Jacsha Heifetz
- Gavotte en Rondeau from Partita No. 3 by Johann Sebastien Bach
- Movements III and IV of Sonata for Violin and Piano by César Franck
- Praeludium and Allegro by Fritz Kreisler
Dissmore is pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a double major in music industry and computer science at Evangel. He is a student of Dr. Larry Dissmore.
