Springfield, Mo — This Friday, Evangel University will be interviewing 34 candidates for Founders Scholarships, the highest academic scholarships the University awards. Two students will receive full-tuition scholarships and ten students will receive half-tuition scholarships, effective upon their enrollment at Evangel.
For next fall, full-tuition Founders Scholarships will be worth $14,200 and half-tuition will be $7,100. They are renewable for four years, as long as eligibility requirements are maintained.
Incoming freshmen are eligible to apply for the Founders Scholarships if they have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.8 on a 4.0 scale, as well as an ACT composite score of at least 30 or an SAT score of at least 1320. Students also must demonstrate church, school and community-related involvement.
