Dr. Bryan Sanders to speak to Capitol Hill Executive Service Club

Springfield, Mo — Dr. Bryan Sanders, professor of government and legal studies at Evangel University, will be speaking to the Capitol Hill Executive Service Club on Monday, March 8, in Washington D.C.

Dr. Sanders will be addressing the topics of student involvement in public service and Evangel’s Washington Studies Program.

The CHESC is composed of admirals, generals, lawyers, doctors, clergymen, industry executives and businessmen, as well as former White House and congressional staffers.

Previous distinguished speakers include senators, congressmen, chiefs of Armed Forces and Supreme Court Justices.

The CHESC traces its lineage to 1973 when Senator Bob Dole and Congressman Fred Schwengel sponsored a group of veterans lobbying service members on Capitol Hill. Members are committed to service and outreach to the Capitol Hill community.

Sanders holds a Juris Doctor degree from the O.W. Coburn School of Law, Oral Roberts University. He has directed the Legal Studies program at Evangel University since 1990 and provides consulting services in Alternative Dispute Resolution to churches, businesses and law firms.
