Elaina Basnett to perform senior voice recital

Springfield, Mo — Elaina Basnett, daughter of Jim and Christina Basnett of Lebanon, Mo., will be performing her senior voice recital at Evangel University on Friday, March 19, at 7:30 p.m., in the Barnett Fine Arts Recital Hall.

There is no charge for admission and the public is invited to attend.

The program will include My Heart Ever Faithful by Bach, Lungi da te ben mio by Sarti, Oh Vieni al mare by Donizetti, Al Amor by Obradors, Morgen by Strauss, Neue Liebe by Mendelssohn, Mon Coeur by Saint-Saens, Mandoline and Les Berceaux by Faure, Tu me dirais by Chaminade, At the Cry of the First Bird by Guion, The Singer by Head, and Lift Thine Eyes by Mendelssohn.

In addition, Basnett will be performing two piano selections, Brahms’ Hungarian Rhapsody piano duet and How Great thou Art arr. by Mark Hayes.

Basnett is a student of Susan Smith. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Music Education at Evangel.
