Mark Thallander Foundation received Angel Award

Springfield, Mo — The Mark Thallander Foundation has received an Angel Award from the Excellence in Media organization. World-renown organist Mark Thallander, a 1972 alumnus of Evangel University, is president of the foundation. He is currently serving as artist-in-residence at Evangel.

The award was received for the CD of the 2009 Los Angeles Choral and Organ Festival in Los Angeles, Sing and Rejoice!

The Mark Thallander Foundation exists to enable individuals to experience growth in faith and community through the gift of music. It seeks to unify the Christian community through dynamic choral and organ repertoire.
