On-campus support services offered to students

Evangel University cares about much more than the academic success of your student. Overall health and wellness is made up of five components — social, emotional, mental, physical and spiritual — and we are committed to supporting our students as they grow in all areas.

Each system in the body depends on other systems in the body to maintain the life of the whole person.

Here are some of the services offered to your student free of charge. These resources are here to help students stay balanced during their time at Evangel.

The Wellness Center offers both health and counseling services confidentially and free of charge. Call (417) 865-2815 ext. 7222.

Pastor John Plake is the campus pastor who is dedicated to serving the student body with encouragement and discipleship. He also offers pastoral care and counseling. Call (417) 865-2815 ext. 7305.

The Academic Support Center (ASC) offers a wide range of services to students, including but not limited to, tutors, study skills resources, time management, and disability services. Call (417) 865-2815 ext. 8272.

The Mabee Student Fitness Center is open to all students to work out. Call (417) 865-2815 ext. 7191
