Nathan H. Nelson is
Professor of English at Evangel University (Springfield, Missouri), where he
has taught since 1988. He holds a B.A. and an M.A. from the University
of Minnesota, an M.A.T. from Northwestern University, and a Ph.D. from the
University of Minnesota. Before
joining the faculty at Evangel, he taught at the University of Wisconsin-Eau
Claire and the University of Minnesota. The AMOS Project
is a considerably expanded version of an assignment that he has given to
students in a certain course at Evangel since 1991.
