Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies

This degree is available for students with limited or no college experience. Students seeking to earn an associate of arts degree must complete 60 general education credit hours from the following disciplines:

• English/Composition 3
• Humanities 11-12
• Social Science 11-12
• Natural Science 7
• Bible 9
• Physical Education 1
• Additional Science Requirement 3 *Includes Geography
• Math Proficiency 3 (Generally met by taking Statistical Analysis)
• Electives 9-13

Transfer students earning an associate's degree must complete at least 30 credit hours from Evangel.

Additional options for credit include CLEP and Dantes testing, departmental exams and the awarding of credit based on life/work experience.
