Program Overview
The Professional Studies program is designed for working professionals, allowing students to attend class as few as four hours a week, giving them time for work, family and church involvement. Students can expect 10 to 15 hours per week of reading, studying, research and writing. A variety of teaching methods is used to help learners interact with one another, discussing assigned readings and applications of text theories. Students participate in cohorts which progress through the core courses together. Cohorts frequently form work and study groups as members support one another during the college experience.
Students with less than 60 hours of college credit will begin in our pre-professional program to complete foundational general education courses. Following completion of these courses they will select a major and be admitted to the major cohort of approximately 20 adult working professionals.
