Music

Evangel makes available vocal and instrumental performance scholarships. These are determined on the basis of merit, academic record and performance. Contact the Music Department at 417-865-2815, ext. 7211 for an application or download the Music Scholarship Application (pdf)

Athletics

Athletic Scholarships are offered in the following sports: Basketball (Men and Women), Baseball, Football, Golf, Softball, Volleyball and Track. Scholarships are based on merit and demonstration of performance. An application is included in the Admissions Packet.

Valedictorian ($500)

Available for first time freshmen who are enrolled full time. This scholarship is non-renewable.  Class enrollment must be greater than five.

Regional Royal Ranger of the Year ($500)

Available for first time freshmen who are enrolled full time. This scholarship is non-renewable.

National Fine Arts ($500 - $11,000)

Renewable scholarships available to first-time students enrolled full-time. Application must be submitted after receiving a National Merit Award or “Superior with Honors” National ranking in select solo categories. Due by January 15 and auditions are required. Apply early, funds are limited. Download the application (pdf).

National Bible Quiz

Evangel University annually will make available a $1,000 scholarship* to each of the top five individual Bible quizzers or recipients of the national memorization award.  Contact your Evangel University admissions counselor to receive more information regarding this scholarship. A copy of the Bible Quiz award certificate is needed to obtain one of the available scholarships. A student must be a first time freshman to be eligible for this scholarship.

To redeem these scholarships, the recipient must apply, be accepted and enroll at Evangel University
