Commuter Services

Commuter students are an important part of the Evangel community. This officially recognized group has its own officers, advised by the Commuter/Multicultural Director, and gives leadership to activities for students who live off campus. Activities include chapel services, socials events, and intramural sports.

Living Off Campus

Certain criteria apply to be considered a commuter. More information is listed with housing forms.

Food Services

Meals are available in the Crusader Dining Hall or the Joust (located in the Cantrell Student Union, 2nd floor) on a daily cash basis. For convenience, commuters must use a Declining Cash Balance card (DCB) purchased from the Aladdin Food Management Services Office in Crusader Hall. Between classes, commuters may find it convenient eat a meal in the Joust, use the computer lab in the Joust, or relax in one of the lounge areas of the Student Union.

Lockers

Lockers are available to commuter students free of charge. These lockers are located on the first floor of the Student Union. Visit the Commuter Services Office (Student Union 205), and staff will assign you a locker and combination.

Visiting Residence Halls

When visiting residence halls, commuter students are expected to follow the Community Standards of Conduct in the Student Handbook.
