170 participate in Spring Break service trips around the world
More than 170 Evangel students, faculty, staff and alumni will be participating in service trips around the world during Spring Break. Twelve teams will travel in 10 countries.
Crowded Eurasian marketplace comes to life in chapel
The Eurasia Experience brought the sights, smells and sounds of Eurasian life to campus. Students were given the opportunity to step into the shoes of a missionary, walk into a bustling Eurasian marketplace, hear and feel the commotion of a crowded bazaar and listen to monologues depicting the struggles of Christianity in Eurasia.
Haiti Fundraising Video
In Chapel on January 21, 2010, Evangel University students, faculty and staff gave an offering to benefit the Haitian relief efforts of Convoy of Hope. The Rev. John F. Plake, Campus Pastor and Director of Spiritual Life, encouraged every member of the Evangel University to participate in giving to this project. Learn how to give.
Veteran’s Day Tribute
Evangel’s Veteran’s Day video features the stories of two former students and one current student who served in the U.S. Army during the Iraq war. The Spiritual Life Department thanks the veterans among us who have served our country with honor and distinction.
