Evangel Gives to Help in Haiti
In Chapel on January 21, 2010, Evangel University students, faculty and staff gave an offering to benefit the Haitian relief efforts of Convoy of Hope. The Rev. John F. Plake, Campus Pastor and Director of Spiritual Life, encouraged all members of the Evangel University community to participate in giving to this project, either through the university or their home churches.
Students, faculty, staff and friends of the University can still give to benefit Convoy of Hope by using Evangel's online giving form and indicating how much you want to give in part 2 of the form next to “Haiti Earthquake Relief.” One hundred percent of these contributions will be given to Convoy of Hope and will provide needed assistance to the victims of the Port-au-Prince earthquake. Donors will receive a contribution receipt for their gifts.
