The purpose of the Distinguished Alumnus Award is to provide recognition for outstanding achievements by the alumni of Evangel University.
Eligibility for the Award
This award shall be limited to alumni of Evangel University.
The ability to attend Homecoming in the year in which the award is to be given is a prerequisite for receiving the award.
Nominees shall have made significant contributions to their chosen field, church, community, state, nation, or to Evangel University.
Nominees must submit a completed nomination form and a letter of endorsement from their pastor or other clergy member.
Nominees must show current and continued interest in Evangel University.

The purpose of the Alumni President’s Award is to recognize alumni who have made extraordinary contributions outside of the traditional careers that generally are recognized by the Board’s other awards. This award need not be conferred each year, but only as the Board identifies outstanding accomplishments which it wishes to recognize.
Eligibility for the Award
The award shall be limited to alumni of Evangel University.
The ability to attend Homecoming in the year in which the award is to be given is a prerequisite for receiving the award.
Nominees shall have made significant accomplishments not related to a traditional career, which could include major community accomplishments, major Christian service contributions, or specific contributions to Evangel University.
Nominees must submit a completed nomination form and a letter of endorsement from their pastor or other clergy member.
Nominees must show current and continued interest in Evangel University.

The Alumni Board recognizes that many young alumni have enjoyed significant achievements in the few years since their graduation, although they may not yet have reached the height of their accomplishments. The purpose of this award is to recognize such young people.

Recipients of the Outstanding Young Alumnus Award must not have reached their 36th birthday before the date on which the Award is presented.

The purpose of the Distinguished Service Award is to recognize faculty, staff and friends of Evangel University for outstanding contributions to Evangel University. This award is given at the discretion of the Alumni Board. The Alumni Board may give one, several, or no Distinguished Service Award(s) in any year.
Eligibility for the Award
Recipient(s) must have made a significant contribution to Evangel University.
The Distinguished Service award may be given posthumously.
Unless the award is given posthumously, the recipient(s) should show a current and continued interest in Evangel University.
