Online registration will end Thursday, September 22 at midnight. Check-in is onsite at Evangel University on Friday, September 23, 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the chapel foyer. Registered attendees will pick up conference materials at this location. Walk-ins will register at the registration kiosks in the same area.

Preconference events on Friday, September 23 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., are free to EU students and the public. Registration is required.

Paid registration is required to attend conference events, starting at 5:30 p.m. Friday September 23 and ending at 5 p.m. Saturday, September 24.

Ph.D. — University of Cambridge, England

Director of Discovery Institutes Center for Science and Culture in Seattle, WA and author of New York Times Best Seller Darwin’s Doubt: The Explosive Origin of Animal Life and the Case for Intelligent Design. Awarded the Times of London Book of the Year for his work Signature in the Cell: DNA and the Evidence for Intelligent Design.

Chief Executive Officer at Hope and Healing Center & Institute in Houston, TX. Former professor of psychology, neuroscience and biomedical studies at Baylor University. His research on the interplay between psychology and faith has been featured by Fox, the New York Times, USA Today, MSNBC, Yahoo, and U.S. News & World Report.

Ph.D.— University of Toronto

Founder of Reason to Believe (RTB) an organization that aims to highlight the connection between science and biblical faith. Author of many best-selling books including Navigating Genesis, Hidden Treasures in the book of Job, and Why the Universe Is the Way It Is. Dr. Ross has also spoke at 300 universities, 400 churches, and multiple conferences.

Ph.D.— University of Minnesota

Has a degree in aerospace engineering and is also one of the top four officials in the Assemblies of God. He was elected General Secretary in 2009, and oversees credentialing of ministers, church chartering, collection of official statistics, and the Flower Pentecostal Heritage Center. It was under the leadership of Dr. Bradford that the inaugural Faith and Science Conference took place in summer 2011.

Ph.D. — University of Rhode Island

Associate professor of Geology at Liberty University, Dr. Marcus Ross finds great interest in paleontology. Specifically studying issues of creation-evolution and the relationship between geology and biblical events such as the flood and creation.

 


YongDr. Amos Yong

Ph.D. — Boston University

Amos Yong is Professor of Theology and Missions and director of the Center for Missiological Research at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. His graduate education includes degrees in theology, history, and religious studies from Western Evangelical Seminary (now George Fox Seminary) and Portland State University, Portland, Oregon, and Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts, and an undergraduate degree from Bethany University of the Assemblies of God. He has authored or edited over three dozen volumes.
