Regions: Director of Undergraduate Admissions, International Students
Josh Cincotta was already two years into his college career when he decided that he wanted to combine a background in biblical studies with his computer degree. He found that Evangel University offered exactly what he was looking for and transferred in 2010, coming all the way from South Orange, New Jersey.
In 2012, Josh graduated with a double major in Computer Information Systems and Computer Science and a minor in Biblical Studies. He loved his Evangel experience so much that upon graduation, he joined the staff as an admissions counselor. Today Josh serves students as director of undergraduate admissions.
As a student, Josh was involved in Floor Council, serving as president of Scott First South, and could often be found on the intramural field, playing basketball, football, volleyball and soccer. “The relationships I formed with the guys from my floor are incredible,” he says. “They are more like brothers to me now rather than just friends.” Josh believes Evangel offers the perfect balance of spiritual and social life, with a specific emphasis on integrating the two.
But Evangel wouldn’t be Evangel without the faculty. “The professors rocked my world,” he says. “I couldn’t believe the interest they took in my life, not just as a student, but as a person. Their passion for teaching and caring was evident in everything they do.”
Regions: Director of Adult & Graduate Studies Admissions
Brittney Grantham is the director of adult & graduate studies admissions. Originally from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Brittney graduated in 2006 with a major in Advertising/Public Relations and a minor in Psychology.
During her time at Evangel, Brittney played on the women’s tennis team, served as a Bed and Breakfast host and spent time working both at the radio station and on the yearbook. Her favorite memories are attending campus-wide events like Homecoming and Spring Fling, developing relationships with some of her closest friends and, most of all, meeting her husband, Mark, who currently serves as Evangel’s commuter director.
Brittney says the best thing about Evangel is the opportunity that students have to get involved and make friends while receiving their education. “I encourage every student to take a step of faith outside of their comfort zone,” she says. “There are hundreds of other students out there just like you looking to build friendships that last a lifetime, and Evangel offers the positive and fun environment to do so.”
In her free time, Brittney likes to cook, read and watch movies. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and loving on their dogs, Samson and Rosie, who she refers to as her and Mark’s “two canine ‘children.’”
