Celia Duncan

Regions: Transfer students, JRLC, International students, Non-degree seeking students

Celia Duncan joined the admissions team in December 2014 and works with transfer, international and non-degree-seeking students.

Duncan graduated from Evangel in 2012 with a degree in International Multicultural Studies. As a student she worked part-time with Dusty Feet, a nonprofit that combats human trafficking. Since graduation, she has also been involved with an inner-city church plant in Denver and worked in student life at Victory Trade School in Springfield.

“I feel like my purpose is to help other people find their purpose,” Duncan says. “My passion is for people to know their value and to be equipped and empowered to do what they feel like they’re supposed to be doing.”

In their free time, Duncan and her husband, Aaron, enjoy being outdoors. A self-proclaimed people-person, Duncan also enjoys good conversation. She says her favorite part of Evangel is the people.

“Everyone I have met here has impacted my life in one way or another, all for the better,” she says. “The relationships that started here I know will be the ones I cling to throughout my life and into eternity.”
