EU grads, board member meet with students

“In addition to the competition, our students participated in a career fair, networked with businesspersons, reconnected with EU graduates and toured the Crystal Bridges Museum,” said Elizabeth Fletcher, associate professor of business and faculty adviser for Evangel’s SIFE team.

“It was a fast-paced and productive event!” Fletcher continued.

While in Rogersville, Nick Reasor, ’11 Evangel alumnus who works at the home office of Wal-Mart, joined the team for a meal as well as an evaluation and feedback session on Sunday evening. He also observed and supported the team during Monday’s competition. Reasor served as the SIFE/PBL director when he was an Evangel student.

Chase Tacker, ’05 Evangel graduate and Wal-Mart financial analyst, and Tim Schaumberg, ’00 Evangel graduate and regional rental manager for Enterprise Holdings, joined the SIFE team for lunch and a round-table session on Monday.

Horace Hardwick, member of the Arkansas State Legislature and a former EU board member, addressed the team and prayed for them prior to their entrance into the competition room,” said Fletcher. “That was extra special for the team!”
