Jessica Stuart to perform senior voice recital Monday, March 25

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Jessica Stuart, music major, will perform her senior voice recital at 7:30 p.m., Monday, March 25, in the Barnett Fine Arts Recital Hall.

There is no charge for admission, and the public is invited to attend.

Stuart’s performance will include the following pieces:

  • Laudamus Te, Domine Deus from Gloria in D, by Antonio Vivladi
  • Si mes vers avaient des ailes, by Reynaldo Hahn
  • Vergebliches Ständchen, by Johannes Brahms
  • Morgen, by Richard Strauss
  • O mio babbino caro from Gianni Schicchi, by Giacomo Puccini
  • Recitative: And God said: Let the earth bring forth grass, by Franz Joseph Haydn
  • Aria: With Verdure Clad from The Creation, Ridente la calma, by W.A. Mozart
  • The Green-eyed Dragon, by Wolseley Charles
  • The Wind’s in the South, by John Prindle Scott
  • Take my life, and let it be consecrated, arranged by Mark Hayes

Carol Wilson will provide piano accompaniment and senior Rebecca Clark will sing duet with Stuart on Laudamus Te.

Stuart is the daughter of Dale and Carla Stuart of Blackfoot, Idaho.
