James River Leadership Campus to hold commencement ceremony

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel University will celebrate the commencement of 57 students from James River Leadership Campus, to be held Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at 7 p.m.

The ceremony will take place at James River Assembly of God in Ozark, Mo. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

Commencement speakers will include Dr. Jon Spence, JRLC director, and Rev. John Lindell, lead pastor of James River Assembly. Student Matt Taumua of Kent, Wash., will also give an address.

JRLC is affiliated with Evangel University and offers a 61-credit-hour Associate of Arts degree in leadership.

In addition to undergraduate general education studies, students are involved with the planning and execution of various events and programs offered by James River Assembly of God. JRLC is heavily practicum-based, with students participating in approximately 10 to 15 hours of practical leadership experience per week.
