Published on Sep 29, 2014 by Michaela Smith

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – As part of Evangel University’s Homecoming festivities, Springfield area residents are invited to participate in a 5K run/walk to benefit feedONE—an organization of Convoy of Hope.

The run will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11. Participants will gather to the west of Evangel University’s clock tower.

“We are pleased to introduce a new element to our traditional 5K run/walk,” said Dr. Michael Kolstad, vice president of university advancement. “We would love to see the Springfield community rally for this great cause.”

The 5K run/walk entry fee is $20, or $50 for a family with three or more participants.
