November 24, 2015 | Paul K. Logsdon

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel University’s music department students will perform their 32nd Annual Christmas Concert on Friday, Dec. 4, at 7:45 p.m. in the Robert H. Spence Chapel.

The doors will open at 6:45 p.m., and there will be a pre-concert presentation by the Suzuki Strings.

Evangel’s popular holiday celebration is open to the public. Once again, the encouraged admission is either a non-perishable food item or a cash donation to benefit the Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army’s nationwide campaign enables them to provide food, toys and clothing to more than six million people during the Christmas season.

“The Evangel Christmas Concert is more than a great night of music,” said Tom Matrone, chair of the Department of Music. “It’s about giving back to the community and honoring University traditions.”

More than 200 performers
