SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel University Kendrick Library will host author Pat Lamb for a book signing on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, from 2 to 6 pm.
The signing will be free and open to the public. Parking is available in front of the library, north of the flag pole, facing Glenstone Ave.
Lamb will be signing her most recent book titled, “Widening the Church Doors to Teach the Narrow Way.” In her book, she gives a view from the pew of observations that have been both helpful and detrimental to church growth, while offering practical suggestions for outreach, church planning and administration.
In addition to her most recent book, she has three other publications that will be available for autograph and purchase. Students will be offered a 10% discount.
A native of New Jersey, Lamb graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a major in Vocational Home Economics and a certification in teaching. Throughout her career, she has taught all grades as well as adult education.
She currently lives in Branson, Mo., and writes a weekly column for local newspapers.
Lamb has been recognized in the “Who’s Who of American Women,” “Who’s Who of American Educators” and “Who’s Who of American Business Women.”

The historic Kendrick Library
Evangel (then College) was founded in 1955 on the site of the former WWII-era O’Reilly Army Hospital.
As campus development was being planned, early leaders demonstrated their commitment to academic achievement by building the library as the first permanent structure on campus.
The facility was completed in 1963 and is named for Dr. Klaude Kendrick, Evangel’s first president (1955-1958).
