SPRINGFIELD, MO —Evangel University has been recognized as one of the top 10 “Best Colleges in Missouri” by BestColleges.com, based on academic quality, affordability and student experience.

BestColleges.com is a popular on-line site that uses proprietary research to produce user-friendly guides and hundreds of unique college rankings.

“Whether seeking a small private liberal arts college or a large public research institution, the ‘Show Me State’ offers a wide range of choices when it comes to schools granting baccalaureate degrees,” the announcement stated.

Evangel officials welcomed the good report.

“In addition to our respected academic programs, the accompanying article spotlighted Evangel’s active campus life and the fact that our students have ‘ready access to faculty,’” said Dr. Michael McCorcle, vice president for academic affairs.
