SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Evangel University has begun welcoming back students from their month-long Christmas break, and classes for the Spring Semester will begin on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.
New and transfer students will move in and experience several orientation activities on Monday and Tuesday.
Scheduled events include a “Tips and Tricks Tour” of the campus; a presentation on community life, activities and spiritual life; and exciting home basketball games on Monday evening.
The women’s basketball team will play at 5:30, and the men’s team will play at 7:30 p.m. in the Ashcroft Center The public is invited to attend.
“The January EU Launch consists of two days designed for new students and their families, featuring activities and programs to guide successful transition to life at Evangel,” said Dr. Sheri Phillips, vice president for student development.
Evangel has enrolled students from almost every state again this year, as well as numerous foreign countries, including Brazil, England, Russia, Venezuela and Canada.
