Doug Gould is a veteran of the pro audio and music technology industry. He has served in management roles at Shure, Tascam and E-Mu Systems. He has also served in various churches as a worship leader, musician and tech. Doug has been a presenter at hundreds of conferences all over North America and beyond.

He is currently the CEO of Worship MD, an educational consulting firm that helps professional audio technology manufacturers build relationships with the church. Worship MD’s mission is to train, equip and unify worship and technical teams in the church and throughout the industry.

Sheri Gould has taught voice for over 35 years and has been a music director in multiple churches. She was the director of Good News Productions and currently writes for Worship Musician! Magazine, while teaching with her husband around the country.

“We’re so excited about the workshops we will be teaching with students and the community around Evangel,” said Doug. “We are passionate about equipping and training volunteers who serve on their worship and tech teams.”

Matthew Moore, assistant professor of music, said, “I’m excited for our Evangel students and surrounding churches to get to know Doug and Sheri! They are the real deal, excellent communicators in their field and have a true heart for the church and those working in the profession.”

The couple have toured the U.S., teaching at conferences such as National Worship Leader Conference, Christian Musician Summit, Camp Electric, Experience Conference, Worship Institute Northeast and many more.

“The fact we are able to have them teaching in tandem is an added bonus,” remarked Moore. “It’s the best of both worship leading and church audio viewpoints, which I believe will help all those who will attend.”
