“Our leaders see this as an opportunity to create a powerful impression with the leaders of tomorrow,” she continued. The video is available on YouTube at https://youtu.be/Ah3c5Y3li9s.

During the class visit each semester, TVBS leaders explain to the students how they have implemented Lean Manufacturing as their quality management system and integrated it with a people-oriented culture and mission.

Students then receive a facility tour to observe the operation firsthand.

Strategic Management is the capstone course for Evangel’s business majors. The course is focused on developing strategies to achieve and sustain performance excellence. It includes a six-week team research project, an individual case study analysis, and it integrates two company visits and two guest speakers.

“We want our business students to know how to impact the world they live in,” said Dana. “TVBS provides an exciting example of how to do that by creating a culture where people really matter, along with a quality management system that drives product excellence.”
