Bachelor of Science in Management
A degree in management prepares students for leadership in any organizational setting. The adult learning program at Evangel offers evening classes and is designed for working adults continuing their education. It provides graduates with managerial skills of planning, organizing, leading and directing. Because it is a flexible degree, the Bachelor of Science in Management frequently opens the door for promotion in one’s current work environment or leads to other opportunities that require a college degree.
Management is about setting goals and objectives and then developing strategies and organizing work activities to achieve them. This degree-completion program is designed to enhance the capabilities and opportunities for adult students with a Christian worldview in all sizes and types of organizations, regardless of their mission.
Our adult learning curriculum begins in a unique way, reintroducing adults to the college learning environment. The 48 credits of courses are designed to train students to think effectively and ethically, form sound business judgments, prepare and execute strategic plans, develop effective organizational relationships, and understand the interrelationships of the various functions of business and society.
The design and delivery methods of the accelerated curriculum recognize the unique needs and abilities of adult students. Those who qualify become part of a cohort of adults students in either a seated course format that meets on the Evangel campus once a week or in an online course format that enables students to interact and share as they complete the same curriculum through an online course management system.
