Pre-Chiropractic
Bachelor of Science in Biology (Pre-Chiropractic Track)
A chiropractor uses natural, hands-on health care practice without the use of drugs or surgery. Chiropractors treat musculoskeletal disorders that are thought to affect overall health through interactions with the nervous system. Our pre-chiropractic program is designed to help students succeed in gaining acceptance to a chiropractic college accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE).
The Evangel University Department of Science and Technology is dedicated to the spiritual, academic and social growth of every student. The department’s purpose is to provide an excellent scientific education that is thoroughly integrated with the University’s emphasis on the development of strong Christian character. Within this framework, students must contend with new scientific, social, ethical and technological challenges. Students learn to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively and exhibit analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
Our Pre-Chiropractic curriculum is tailored to provide the knowledge that students need for chiropractic college. Most Pre-Chiropractic students choose a major in Biology. Students are provided with practical experiences through laboratory studies in biology courses. We also encourage our students to obtain volunteer hours to gain valuable insights into the benefits and challenges of a career in healthcare.
