Concentration in Theatre
The Theatre concentration provides instruction in theatre history, literary appreciation of dramatic literature, dramatic interpretation and the performance skills demanded of a thespian (theatre artist). It requires the completion of 32 Theatre Arts credits.
The concentration in Theatre program offers the opportunity to supplement a major area of study with knowledge to become well-rounded actor, director or theatrical writer. It is dedicated to polishing students' skills and making them competent stage technicians and directors. Our Theatre programs have a tradition of producing students versed in classic, drama, comedic and musical practices on the stage.
