One of the faith and learning outcomes for students is the opportunity to experience their faith in the field. Making a global impact is one of the factors that makes an Evangel education unique.
Organized service trips allow students to disperse during summer or spring break and minister to the world. Trips are typically organized either through CROSSwalk, Evangel’s student-led ministry organization, or Global Connections.
In both cases, they are designed to help students develop personal spiritual formation, experience global cultures, learn about other perspectives and world views, and actively participate in service and witness projects.
By going to new countries and engaging with various cultures, students graduate prepared to influence the world with their gifts. In 2012-13 alone, groups traveled to serve in domestic cities (Los Angeles and Chicago), Brazil, Dominican Republic, France, Greece, Belgium, Scotland, Turkey and Wales. Many performance groups from the Music department also travel regularly, including the concert choir, concert orchestra, and marching band.
Below is a summary of upcoming trip opportunities and photo albums from past excursions.
