Lewis Hall

Lewis Hall, the largest and newest of the residence halls, has capacity to house 352 students. It was completed in 1980 and named for Gayle F. Lewis, former general superintendent of the Assemblies of God. The four-story structure houses female students on the North wing of the building and male students are housed on the South wing.

Lewis Hall: Welcome Home.

Tony and Katie Perrin are in their first year as Co-Resident Directors of Lewis Hall.

Tony and Katie met in 2012 and were married on Star Wars Day 2013.  They welcomed their daughter, Evalyn Grace, into the world on Christmas Day 2016.  They also have a Yorkie named Molly….but she’s not staying in Lewis; we promise.

Tony, a native of Moberly, Missouri, graduated from Evangel University in 2006 and Katie, from Springfield, MO, attended Drury University and Cox School of Nursing (both of Springfield, MO).  For the past six years, Katie has and continues to serve as a Registered Nurse with Mercy Hospital in Springfield.  For the past four years, Tony has served the Missionary Kid Office with the General Council of the Assemblies of God World Missions.  In fact, they have both traveled to Thailand (2015), Croatia (2016), and Hungary (2017) serving missionary kids from different regions in many different capacities.

In 2017, they answered the call to serve as RDs of Lewis Hall for two reasons; their passion for college students and their love for following the will of God.

Tony also co-coordinates Evangel’s Freshman Experience Program with Jonathan Web, Scott Hall RD.
