Springfield, MO ~ Evangel University invites comments from the public about the University in preparation for a regularly-scheduled, ten-year evaluation by its regional accrediting agency, the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), one of six accrediting agencies in the United States which provide institutional accreditation on a regional basis.

The HLC will visit Evangel’s campus February 13-14, 2017 to review the University’s ongoing ability to meet the HLC’s criteria for accreditation. The public is invited to submit comments regarding the University to:

Comments may also be submitted on HLC’s website at hlcommission.org/comment.

Evangel University has been accredited by the HLC since 1965. The HLC accredits approximately 1,100 institutions in a 19-state region and is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Comments must be in writing and address substantive matters related to the quality of the University or its academic programs. All comments must be received by January 13, 2017.
