Each year, our Evangel community comes together to celebrate and encourage newly admitted students as they take their final steps toward enrollment. Whether hosted by the Admissions team or by passionate alumni across the country, these events create connection, excitement, and confidence in the Evangel experience.

Missouri-Based Receptions
- Planned and led by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions & Recruitment
- Held in regions with high concentrations of admitted students
- Staffed by Evangel Admissions & Financial Aid professionals
- ASRs are invited to support by welcoming guests, assisting with registration, and sharing their Evangel story


Out-of-State Receptions
Hosted by Alumni Student Recruiters (ASRs) in March or April
Bring Evangel to your community by hosting a simple get-together for admitted students and their families. Coffee shops, churches, or casual restaurants all make great venues.
These events:
- Celebrate and welcome students to the Evangel family
- Connect families with each other and with a trusted alum
- Often help students finalize their college decision
What we Provide:
- Evangel T-shirts for student attendees
- Planning support and promo materials
- Optional giveaways and décor for your space

EU Near YOU! Host a Summer Send-Off
Encourage and connect students before they arrive on campus
These informal events (picnics, brunches, or meetups) give new students a chance to connect with future classmates and current students in their region before move-in day
