Program Overview
The Adopt-a-Territory program is the heart of the Alumni Recruiting Association. As an Alumni Student Recruiter (ASR), you’ll take personal ownership of a key recruiting area—whether it’s a feeder high school, a Missouri county, or an out-of-state region—and serve as a dedicated resource for admitted students from that territory.
This grassroots effort allows alumni to build meaningful connections with students and families, increasing the likelihood that admitted students enroll. Through intentional outreach, encouragement, and regional engagement, you’ll play a direct role in shaping the next generation of Evangel students.

Presenting an Award – High School End-Of-Year Ceremonies
While not required, participating in a local awards ceremony is a meaningful way for Alumni Student Recruiters (ASRs) to make a lasting impression. Presenting an Evangel Scholarship Certificate in person adds a personal, celebratory touch and helps solidify a student’s commitment to Evangel.
If a high school in your adopted territory requests an Evangel representative for their event, we may reach out to see if you’d be willing to represent the university and honor the student on our behalf.
