I was born in Branson, Missouri and had the privilege of attending Branson Schools for 12 years. After high school I attended Webster University to earn a degree in Elementary Education, while playing collegiate volleyball. Upon graduation I came back home to Branson and taught 5th grade for several years. While teaching, I also coached high school girls volleyball and junior high girls basketball. During that time I married my high school sweetheart, Colby. After five years, new doors were opened and we moved back to St. Louis. I was blessed to work in the Pattonville School District at Rose Acres Elementary teaching 3rd, 5th, and eventually becoming a reading specialist. Again, God opened new doors and led our family back home to Southwest Missouri where I was blessed to join the Evangel Education Department.

My husband, Colby, and I have one son, Cal. We also have a cocker spaniel, Gibson. We love to be outdoors, spend time with our family, relax on the lake, and cheer for the St. Louis Cardinals.
