Carly Wingfield, a soprano from Knoxville, TN, has been praised for her beautiful expression and gripping character portrayal. She has premiered the song cycle Three Songs to texts by Thomas Hardy by composer William Dickens in Springfield, Missouri and performed the dramatic speaking role of Frederic Rzewski’s Coming Together at St. Petri’s Dom in Bremen, Germany.
Ms. Wingfield has been featured as a concert soloist for Mozart’s Coronation Mass, Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Handel’s Messiah, Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy, and Fauré’s Requiem. In the summer of 2019, she was a World Youth Choir soloist with performances in France and Portugal. In June 2020 she will return to St. Petri’s Dom in Germany to perform selections from Dvořák’s Biblical Songs.
Ms. Wingfield holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Missouri State University (2019) and Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Music Education Vocal/General (2016) from Lee University. She currently maintains a private voice studio and teaches applied voice as an adjunct instructor at Missouri State and Evangel Universities.
