Douglas P. Mitcham, M.S.

Zimmerman Hall 312M | MitchamD@evangel.edu

Originally from Natick, MA, I spent 13 years in the defense industry before following the Lord’s calling for me to come teach at Evangel. My wife, Wyndy, and I moved to Springfield, MO and I began teaching here in the fall of 1993. Along with my teaching, I have been heavily involved in music. As a member of an award-winning bluegrass gospel group called ‘Green Valley Grass’, we released several recordings which received airplay throughout the United States as well as other countries. While still involved in bluegrass gospel to a lesser extent these days, I currently also provide technical support to our local church.
