Dan Morrison joined the faculty of the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary at Evangel University in 2017 as an assistant professor in New Testament. His doctoral research focuses on the application of Critical Discourse Analysis to the book of Revelation.
In the classroom, Dan combines his practical ministry experience with the concepts discussed in the classroom to help students realize the application their studies to daily Christian living. His prior service as an associate pastor of young adults and as a campus minister with Chi Alpha—the campus outreach of the Assemblies of God—reflects his continued passion for ministering to and training students to live according to a biblical worldview. Dan continues to engage in pulpit ministry and assist those in the local church by providing them with appropriate resources to enhance their ministries.
Dan maintains a wide variety of research interests that he hopes will further the discussions in the field of biblical studies and provide new resources for those engaged in practical ministry. The follow list provides a few of his primary research interests.
