Mike Clarensau

After serving for seven years as the Dean of the College of Bible and Church Ministries for Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) in Waxahachie, TX, Dr. Mike Clarensau and his wife Kerry have recently relocated to Camas, WA, where they enjoy spending time with their two sons, two beautiful daughters-in-law, and six amazing grandchildren.

Dr. Mike is a freelance writer, college professor, church leadership consultant, and now serves as the Statistician for the General Council of the Assemblies of God. He formerly served as Director of the Healthy Church Network, the U.S. Assemblies of God’s national effort to aid plateaued and declining congregations and continues to write and coordinate church health research for those efforts and others. He has traveled extensively, speaking in camps, conferences, and churches across the nation. Among the churches they have led, Mike and Kerry pastored Maranatha Worship Center in Wichita, Kansas, for ten years. They have also filled other district and national roles for the Assemblies of God.

Dr. Mike has authored numerous books, including When Prophets Want to Die, Subject to Change, A Spirit-Empowered Life, From Belonging to Becoming, Journey to Integrity, Your New Life in Christ, The Sanctity of Life, and We Build People.
