Renee Griffith

| griffithr@evangel.edu

Born in California and raised in Montana, Renée received her call to missions and to Evangel University while in middle school. She grew up with a love for all things school, non-fiction writing, and classical piano. While earning her degrees, she ran Cross Country and Track for Evangel. Immediately after graduating from college and completing a whirlwind fundraising stint in the Big Sky state (Montana), she served in Moldova and Russia as an AGWM Missionary Associate, homeschooling MKs, teaching 6th grade at an international school, volunteering at a home for trafficking survivors, and playing piano at a Russian church. After this, she briefly taught English to international students in Washington state, and then she returned to Missouri to earn her Masters of Divinity degree at AGTS while working as a writer for AGWM Eurasia and later WorldView magazine. She is now the Communications and Content Strategist for the Bible Engagement Project at the AG national office. In this role she curates online resources to further engage local churches across the country with the Word of God.

Her love for missions and international travel occasionally takes her around the world on writing assignments. She also currently serves as a high school Tribes pastor at Central Assembly and believes in the Lord’s ability to empower youth to set an example for other believers. She received her call to ministry while reading 2 Timothy 4:2-5 for the first time as a 12-year-old and is passionate about women in ministry, exegetical preaching, and living life with no regrets.
