Saturday Homecoming 2012 Events

November 910, 2012 |

The final day of Homecoming 2012 started bright and early with the annual Pearson-Creek 5K Fun Run/Walk at the Crusader Track. This was followed by the Alumni Breakfast and annual Alumni Association Business Meeting. The morning also held a variety of networking events before the big tailgate party and football game. The halftime show featured the Crusader Marching Band, the coronation of the king and queen, and the induction of the 1966 undefeated track team into the Athletics Hall of Fame.

The culminating event of the weekend was the Homecoming Celebration Banquet on Saturday evening. This event featured the alumni award presentations as well as a keynote address by Dr. George O. Wood (’62), general superintendent of the Assemblies of God.
