Evangel seniors to launch senior art displays at First Friday Artwalk

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Six Evangel University students will display their art at two senior art exhibitions to be held April 6 through May 4. Their art will be shown at both the Barnett Fine Art and Design Gallery at Evangel and at the Bellwether Gallery in downtown Springfield.

An opening reception with refreshments will be held on Thursday, April 12, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at each gallery. The senior artists will split their time between each location.

The following students will have their art on display at the shows:

  • Kenneth Barker, senior art and mathematics double major from Niles, Ohio
  • Stephanie Fuentes, senior art major from Carlisle, Pa.
  • Melissa Giammona, senior art major from Geneva, Ga.
  • Elise Herndon, senior art major from Nixa, Mo.
  • Alyse Johnson, senior art major from Springfield, Mo.
  • Maria Martinez, senior art major from Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico
